1400 aluminum rod rewinding machine

Equipment Application：

The machine is used to rewind the ø9.5mm electrical aluminum rod. It rewinds the framed electrical aluminum rods which are produced in continuous casting and rolling process into dense arrangement of ø600×ø1400×900 in bundle to easy for long-distance transport.

Equipment composition

This line is mainly composed of pay-off stand, straightener, winder (including traversing device), etc. 

Equipment feature

1. Pay-off stand is the petal-basket pay-off roller that is supported by channel steel welding portal-type frame. The petal-basket pay-off roller is 4m high so that can raise aluminum rods as high as possible to avoid knotting.

2. The straightener is divided into 3 sections. The first section is rough straightening, while the last two sections are refined straightening, also called transverse straightening. Aluminum rods will be rewinded to be more orderly and closely after being straightened. Furthermore, straightener also controls the tension of rewinding. Above all, we can adjust the straightening effect and the whole tension of rewinding by adjusting the bolts in straightener pinch roller. Aluminum rods won’t be rewinded orderly or closely, if the tension is too small. While if the tension is too great, the main motor of rewinder will generate heat with overloading, even burn out.

3. Winder (including traversing device) is in vertical type, and its base is in welding structure. The motor drives bobbin with the size of ø600×ø1400×ø 900 mm by a reducer. The main motor of winder is controlled by AC inverter. When fully loaded, we can bundle it up by special baling steel belt. Baling steel belt can be into the inner ring through grooves with 50mm width at both ends of bobbin. Can unload the pinch nut at the top of bobbin, and then unload upper cover after finishing in bundles. Thereby, bundles of aluminum rods can be lifted out. Bobbin core will shrink automatically when start lifting. Using vertical winder is easy to lift out bundles of aluminum rods.
